Time to ban the fake "Jerry" IDs?

I got scammed twice tonite:eek: :eek:
I thought it was funny as long as my early email didn't disqualify me?

ive never been dq'd.


i think ive sent early ones every time. the first from getting fooled.

since then i still get excited, and invariably hit the "send" instead of "save" in my email options, which freaks me out even more!! then i have to go into my saved folder, copy everything, and compose a new one. all while hoping i dont miss the go while im screwing around with the emails.

No...No...No!

You must prepare scads of e-mails well before hand. Then, they must be properly arrayed so that they can be fired off when and as needed.

You've got to be prepared for these things!!:D

haven't tried that.


ive always just sent one after the go, ive done pretty well.

I've yanked some newbie chains and made them believe, momentarily, that they'd be DQ'ed, but I don't think it really works that way. I imagine Amy-0 has a time stamp at which she begins accepting emails. Everything earlier just gets ignored.

I only went with the one on my screen. But I did have a backup sitting in my Drafts, just in case. One never knows...

i'll bet one of the chains you yanked is sitting in my chair, typing on my computer right now. way back when, before....
 
I sent about five emails way to soon and then two in a row on Jerrys Go.
Who knows. I'm just glad it's over! I was way to stressed out when I couldn't get on the forums.
I might get nothing or I might owe Jerry a lot of money.:eek: :confused: :D

Yeah, I had a stack on the desktop, saw the post on the home forum, cursored up to the little black x in the right corner clicked, and then ran to the bathroom.

I always copy myself, so when I got back no email ? The sucker was still in the draft folder :confused::rolleyes:, I hit close, not send, f'n idiot. :eek:

Fired off the second one 7:57:38 :rolleyes:

Oh well, it was a diversion :thumbup:

I remember my first free for alls like this (before Jerry started calling them ganzas). I was sweating buckets and shaking like a toy terrier trying to pass a peach pit. When it was over, I had to have a drink and a smoke! LD
 
Ban? I guess not. They still piss me off and worse yet give the Busse crew scads of additional email to wade through. You can't just ignore them I'd imagine because one of them could be unrelated to the ganza.

I imagine Amy highlights everything before a certain point and DUMPS it in the trash. :eek: :eek: :eek:

At least that's how I'd do it. :D
