Greetings All:

Twelve days ago I took some hard falls on the ice walking out to the shop - one on Sunday and one on Wednesday. Torn quad tendon, dislocated kneecap, and beginning frostbite in my left hand.....damn fingertips are still numb. Recovery hasn't been as fast as hoped, so MRI on Monday to figure out what, if any surgery is required. I finished a couple spec knives last week but it wasn't pretty!

I have about six months worth of orders on the books - I will fill those orders over the next months after I get battle ready. From that point I want to build some special projects to expand my skillset so to speak. So for now, the books are closed. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

V/R,

TK

Smart move TK....on all accounts. Hopefully you have a speedy recovery but take care of yourself. Your health is priority....the rest is just knives.

Daum, buddy....hate to hear this. Take care and heal quickly and completely.

You’ll be in my best of thoughts and prayers my friend.

Sorry to hear this Tim, I Hope you have a speedy recovery, keep us posted on how you're doing. I will definitely by looking forward to seeing those special projects you'll be working on.

Beginning to get frostbite too? Not to get to personal, but were you stuck alone outside after you fell? Getting old hurts. Get well soon.

I'm sorry to hear that winter took its toll on you. Hopefully you'll heal and be better then ever. Use the interim time well sir.

Gravity and Time are not our friends.

Kick their asses and get better sooner rather then later.

Thanks to all for the well wishes - what a great community we have. :)

Yep, I was alone, it was 10 below, no cell phone, no gloves, and Susan was in Florida. Had to belly crawl to the heated shop and it did take awhile. The second fall was due to a sense of security because I had my ice cleats on - they don't always work!
