Time to Close the Books for Awhile - UPDATE

Ice cleats? We have no need for such annoying thingamajigs down here in God's country. Take care of yourself, listen to your therapist, & enjoy the fluttering, love, sympathy, & food while you can.

Darrin: You're killing me!! Son, you have to work on your geography - God's country is up in Bucksport, Maine, where men are men and women are glad of it. :D

Feel better TK and I’m glad you got a loving wife

If ya need anything reach out

A little TK love

Wear it almost every day just had to sharpen and buff from using so much :)

Tx Joe - if I'm not careful, my tree stands won't be able to support me next deer season. Love the knife photo - I've got to make one for myself one day. :)

I truly appreciate all the well wishes - thanks to all for taking the time to respond. :)

In my original post, I eluded to MRI results and it's worse than I thought. X-rays and MRI results show a complete rupture of the quadricep tendon, and the kneecap is precariously in alignment, held in part by a small muscle. Surgery is scheduled for Monday, Feb 26. Susan is fluttering around me, crushing me with love, sympathy, and food. So the next three obstacles will be 6-8 weeks in a brace, physical rehabilitation, and weight loss. :D

Take care boys and wear your ice cleats! :)
Sorry to hear it’s that bad. Wishing you well. Take your time with the recovery and don’t push yourself more than the docs & PTs want you too.
