Since we all seem to enjoy showing off our knives and seeing everybody else show off theirs, I thought it might be time to start a new thread. This time it's trappers. Maybe we can start doing a pattern thread or two spaced a week apart. Trappers and maybe something else this week. A couple of patterns next week. That way we don't get overwhelmed by imagery or spend all out time making pics all at once.
I'll start it off with this Case Anniversary Sept. 5, 2005, 1 of 20, I received in the mail today. I got it fromt the same folks I got the one in the second image from. Good folks to deal with.
And of course the recent engraved KY Bluegrass. (Photo by Bill Bowman)
That second one has seem some pocket carry and use already. It came in real handy last Friday when we met some friends at a local restaruant and mini-brewery at a local art gallery. (Blue Star for you SA familiar) The wife and I ordered a quesadilla while waiting for others to arrive. It came with guacamole, sour cream, and pica de gallo, but no flatware. I couldn't get the girls attention so I just pulled out the trapper and used the spey blade to scoop the goodies onto my quesadilla. I figure it was a artsy place and the knife was artsy. And it was in KY Bluegrass colored bone and the place was called Blue Star, so seemed a reasonable fit to me.
One of the guys who joined up was looking at my knife and pulled out an earlier Case pen knife with CV blades. He said he just can't see how a man can go about the day without a knife in his pocket. I certainly agreed.
That is it for my purdy ones. I'll scan in and post some of my other trappers a little later.
