Tired of being edged out of sales that I claimed first. Advice?

Yes, I have ALWAYS followed up with a PM immediately after the public "I'LL TAKE IT" in fact as Esav suggests, my response is almost always "I'll take it, PM to follow" or similar.

I missed one this morning. Posted in the thread first, pmd first, sent email first and then got an email back stating it was being sold to the 2nd poster who had replied after me and even stated so in his post. I guess having 100% feedback and posting first even tho the seller states "first I'll take" really means nothing. Must be a clique thing or something. Oh well, ya know what they say about karma
 
On another forum I was being fair to a screwball that claimed I had no right to sell to some one else that posted first,he was all important and started making wild claims and I wound up getting the boot from another forum because the wheel decided that I cheated the way he would have.
Oh well,altough that was a good forum and I had a lot of friends there many of them jumped on the band wagon and helped shoot me down.
This is a good forum with good folks,thanks for listening to my sob story. :thumbup:
