Bump your budget up another $50 and I’d recommend the Arno Bernard iMamba. Lots of good suggestions so far.
As Mitch mentioned, I had a button lock VECP and currently have a flipper washers AB. They are honestly different animalsnorcalAF has had both, he should be able to give a good review of the two.
You really should check out the small SHF if you like washer and thumbstud action. They are fantastic, though I only have large versions. Now that Arno Bernard iMamba is something. Non flipper washer config sounds so nice. I have alot to think about now.
Way to ride the line. Well done!As Mitch mentioned, I had a button lock VECP and currently have a flipper washers AB. They are honestly different animals. The VECP was butter smooth and drop shut but not a flipper. The AB is very similar to CRK in smoothness, and once broken in, flips with authority. Both are similar length. I honestly only moved the VECP because an extremely generous fella traded a Norsman for it as I was in the right place at the right time. I am passively looking for a replacement VECP as it is such a great knife with an amazing action. You will not be disappointed with either.
I'm not on the payroll, so I gotta walk the line!Way to ride the line. Well done!![]()
I’d second that! The inkosi is great!!If you're not going to go for a Sebenza (and you didn't mention why,) maybe try an Inkosi.
Then LG or SHF is the way!Yeah hate to say it but not a fan of CR and i kinda want something a little different from the norm.
I do like my chef, but it is a bit different than the knives suggested so far....Spyderco SpydieChef, for a completely corrosion resistant option.
This is the way, though be warned, if you go the SHF route, the variety of handles will suck you in and dry your wallet while leaving you wanting even more variants! Personally I prefer the stonewash blades, as they are phenomenal from a tactile perspective.Yeah so far the SHF, LG and Imamba are my choices I'm trying to decide between.
Added a few new things I'm definitely gonna buy now too like the Militaw, so thanks for costing me more money by bringing it to my attention
As for the Hinderer XM-18 3 I'm sure its a fantastic quality and excellent designed knife since I've heard alot about it but I just don't like the aesthetic of it.
