Hello, The T-5000 ti folders you see here are the only frame locks I make right now, the rest of my folders are liner lock.

sir could you tell me more about the san mai carbon fibreb fixed blade
like edge retension . how does it wear? i guess just an overall detailed
back ground of it how good it is why you choose to make , what makes it a good
knife? thanks for your time sir

Hello Frank, time to time I like to make something unusual and high spec, the knife has a 1/4" 440-c steel in the core at 60rc so it will hold a very good edge should you wish to use it. The carbon is 1/8" thick on each side.
The design is very simple, the way I have ground the bevel the steel flows very nicely in with the carbon. Overall length I will have to get back to you with that info.

It is very challenging to get an edge on it, that’s the feedback.
A good way that works for me is to have a rolled mirror polished edge, otherwise 10v, 15v and S125v are very hard to sharpen.
