Titanium Frame lock WIP and introduction

ok so someone asked for comparison photos of Regulus and Sirius , both contoured handles..
i tried to get this contoured thing captured the best i could but i don't think the photos show it as it really is..

I finally weighed the Sirius. It comes in at 0.225 kg or 7.9 ounces.

hopefully that helps some people.

By the way, I recently bought a ti framelock Spyderco Military and the Sirius is still smoother.

finally today i got my carbide 1.3mm drill bit so i could drill the detent hole on sm-100
i'll sent it for HT on 2.1.2013.

other than that seems a lot of people really like that contoured look...

Super glad im getting one of these :D! Selling off more then half my collection cause i just dont see myself carrying anything else once this is in my possesion. Great job Dalibor, your giving knife making giants some serious competition lol!
 
Ohhhhh, sexy flame treated titanium come to me. I do believe that gorgeous flame licked sirius might just be mine. Cannot wait to get it. Nice work Dalibor. Just beautiful.
 
Hi All and Happy New Year
I went to a meeting of knife aficionados, just before the holidays, here in London UK and a man I met there, who owns many nice and some very expensive knifes, Rocksteads as an example of the one's he brought to show, voted my Regulus as the knife of the meet!
It's still my favourite heavy duty folder!

Mark , i'm just finishing sm100 folder but i'm arfraid it a bit too expensive to field test :)
i can tell you that when you want to grind it , you feel like your belt is completely worn out eve tho i took out a completely new one.. just weird..
i talked to Jeremy Robertson about sm100 and he gave me a few tips about detent, and finish in general.

ok , so i didn't post much these couple of weeks but i've been bussy fixing up my garage and getting new equipment..
i wanted to get a small mill and during my search i found the exact same thing but converted to cnc..it was about 1500$ and it works great!!!
now i can clean up edges , make lock reliefs , counterbore , make pivots holes for reaming..makes my life just a lot easier..


anyway here's a few pics.. once contoured Sirius , fitting the lock and milling out the lock relief..
