Flytanium recently started making titanium scales for the Para 2 and they are awesome! Just got this one in and I must say they are very impressive. They fit extremely well, can't find any flaws in it and the knife functions as normal, no issues at all. If you like titanium on your knives I highly recommend picking up a set of these!

I've always preferred plain ti but I gotta say the bronze ones look really awesome as well! Might have to pick up a pair of those in the future!

These are next on the list. I just got a pair of the Skyline scales put on and they are very nice.

I just looked at Allen Putman's site. He has them also. He also has some that are annoed......blue, green and a fade. Nice stuff and around $80.

What didn't you like about them?

Mine had fitment issues, and are going back. I will say that Jacob (the man behind the scales) was very responsive, and offered the refund promptly. He's working on a new batch; and I'll probably try another set once they're ready.

Last Friday I ordered a dasmascus Skyline with their blue scales from BladeHQ. It's my first Skyline and my first knife with ti-scales.

Sure wish he would drill and tap for left handed carry... I would buy a set if that was an option.

You could try contacting the maker, he might do it for a nominal fee. Unlike aluminum you can tap a screw into titanium without issue.

No - I didn't even install the clip, as I had a couple of deep carry clips ordered.
I had initially bought a set of wood scales for the knife, and I reinstalled them after my multiple efforts with the flytanium scales. They're staying, now; even if they do flex a little under pressure - I'm getting used to it.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get the upcoming M4 SFO - it will definitely need new scales, so I'll have a home for the flytaniums.

So the flytanium scales didn't fit at all? That's surprising to hear, I bought mine from bladehq already pre installed so I didn't have to install them myself. This has so far been my only experience with flytanium and they seemed to be top notch. Hopefully you''l be able to get a replacement that fits properly!
All the best!
