Titanium scales for the Paramilitary 2, made by Flytanium

It wasn't that they "didn't fit at all".
I was avoiding details because the manufacturer addressed the matter; and stated that there some tweaks to the upcoming run. One of the liners - I don't recall which - didn't fit well. I had to pound it into place, and pry it back out...even after three cycles of assembly/disassembly. (On the third assembly, I didn't pound it in - I used my bench vise to press it in place.) That, in and of itself, wasn't an issue; but I kept ending up with side to side blade play that I couldn't adjust out without tightening the pivot to the point where the blade didn't open properly.
It wasn't a huge amount of play; but it was noticeable, and it wasn't present with the G10 or wood scales. I'm guessing that the one liner wasn't seating properly, despite my efforts.
Again, Jacob was very responsive, offering a refund upon my first contact about the issue. When I couldn't remedy it after disassembling/reassembling a couple of times, he told me to return it for the refund, and we could discuss the replacement when the next batch is ready.

I also have that problem. Not the tight liner fit but not being able to get the knife to flip without blade play. I thought it was me but I guess I'll be sending another email. I scratched mine with the pocket clip install but luckily my clip covers the scratches.

Mine was. They were ever so slightly off.

A buddy of mine had a similar issue with the fitment of the pocket clip screw holes. But he eventually realized that what was causing that was that the lanyard tube hole was fully pressed together. Have you checked that out? If theres a gap somehwere between the lanyard tube hole and the liners try and press the scales together with some pressure and see if that fixed the hole fitment issue?

I racked my brain for a couple hours on this. My liners fit tight but not as tight as above. Deflection between the liner and screw home wasn't my problem. I believe the holes were a hair off, causing the screw to go through the titanium a little tight. The Ti isn't nearly as forgiving as the G10.
