Gary,appreciate your farthur input on the JYD SG2 knife.This is a very good knife and for the price point almost impossible to beat.Fine quality materials and the SG2 steel can take a lot of abuse and takes on a very keen edge.As good or better than some titanium handled folders costing much much more.The blems which "Kershawguy" has are one of the best deals going.

The knife is still going strong, a good indicator of a knife, considering my history of
moving from one to the next
I still would LOVE to see this same knife made without that nasty notch before the edge
even with the sharpening of the area it can still catch on material, of course those
that have no problem with the notch must not cut the same stuff I do, so that's good.
The other nit pic I have with this knife is, that it hasn't seen a need to be sharpened
much if any, possibly touched up on a small hand held ceramic and stropped but, that's it
haven't had the need to take this blade to a point it really needs a stone sharpening!
And that my friends, is a GOOD thing
but I do like sharpening, but this one just says
