Does the 25 blade have a coating on it or is it just the lighting?

Her (back) and my (front) EDC during the last 2 Christmas weeks (and our favorites). Hope the Fulltrack counts..

ferider ferider , I believe we've had a little back and forth about Andrey Biryukov's knives and I've seen you post your wife's. Is that a No. 7? I can't quite make out the steel. Do she or you have others than the one above?

I have two. One, a liner lock which was unnamed when I bought it from a Spanish dealer, I believe to be an early No. 9 in S90V, and the other is a Sigma-1 in S125V.

The Sigma slabs are on their way back from @WValtakis in CA as I write after having their exterior milling embellished with blue ano. Here's Chip's pic taken after refinishing which should fit especially well in this thread as there's nothing but Ti to it....

I was just over at Andrey's website and am seriously considering ordering a No. 10 with a contoured CF show side.

These are beautiful scales, ChazzyP. Yes indeed, and sorry for the repost - I own quite a few Ti knives, but when I had to think of favorites ... this is it. Not sure of the number, bought the knife from an ebay reseller - a little more expensive, but then I don't have to wait for the Russian post. Steel is s90v.

My wife only has two knives ... this one for actual use around the house, and a beautiful CF Shiro 111, that she carries but not really uses. I have a smaller AB one in s125v (looks similar in size to a Shiro Turtle). Not really in use currently, I like heavier knives these days ....

Thanks,

Roland.

View attachment 1359895 View attachment 1359896 The blue one is just back from the anodizor. The Gold one was also done by my son in law. The Gold handle is a custom Celtic braid by Darrel Ralph. The blue handle is a Camillus factory product. Both 7" blades are custom made by Darrel Ralph. The blades are interchangeable. Right now the Gold handle sports an S-90-V blade. The blue knife blade is Haynes Stellite 6-K.

I know Dadpool Dadpool , our OP, asked for our favorite Ti/Ti's, but I have a lot of favorites, many of those are all Ti, and I'm gonna keep 'em coming. This one, though, is actually named as one of two on my profile page and if faced with that "if you could only have one knife" question, the Turtle might actually be it.

Here's a pair of Ti/Ti Olamics that are more than a little different, though they're both BB, M390 flippers with gold ano'd hardware. While each has a finish on their Ti slabs, the Wayfarer 247 sports a stonewashed PVD coating which covers the entire knife from the butt of its flat, bevel-edged handle to the tip of its pointy blade and is appropriately called Stealth. The Rainmaker handle is done in Seabed which is only available in their Rock Sculpted treatment, this one blue ano'd then polished to produce contrast between the darker lows and lighter ridges. Both knives have Olamic's unusual floating backspacer--the Rainmaker's sculpted and the Wayfarer's nicely rounded but smooth. The former is a long, straight knife with an unadorned FFG blade while the latter is curvy with a sharply downturned butt and a 3/4 ground blade with a generously long and graceful, if not murdery, swedge.
