I bought one of these back in 2003 for $125 from the Brigade Quartermaster catalog . . .and gave it to an active duty Marine at his TBS school in Quantico. He deployed to Iraq in 2004 as a platoon leader with 3rd LAR Bn.

It's a Franken-Native 5 backlock with fluted Ti scales. I replaced the S30V blade those scales originally had with a Magnacut blade from the new Native 5 Salt.

Very cool & lucky. My S35VN fluted Ti has slightly bigger pivot / pivot hole. Not even the pivot screws are compatible. 😒
