Photos Titanium showcase: Let's see your favorite Ti/Ti knives

I swapped in a Ti scale on my Skinny XM-24 this morning. I was surprised how much the swap changed my XM-18, so I've been keeping eye peeled for a Skinny 24 scale. Never imagined I'd own two Ti/Ti Hinderers and I know I'm incredibly fortunate to be in that spot.

Love those scales but tell me about the books.

Just to keep things on topic, I always liked the design of the T1.

I've been reading a lot of old pulp SF and fantasy lately and these three are from my to-read pile. I love the covers from the 1950s-1970s pulp novels, and they make fun knife backdrops. :)

Me too. Going back further, I recently re-read a bunch of Lovecraft and Ambrose Bierce. Then I did "The King In Yellow" and branching out over the summer, I tried "A Voyage to Arcturus". It was a strange bit of science fiction and fantasy with philosophy elements, really something for having been published in 1920. It stuck with me.

Now I've been itching to do some of the pulp stuff like what you posted. What are the titles and authors of the ones you posted? Anything you recommend?

Also, for the thread, an anodized WE Mote!

I share your enthusiasm for the work of Lovecraft and Bierce. Recent favorites have included Andre Norton's Witch World and Fredric Brown's Rogue in Space. You can't go wrong with Burroughs' Martian stories, starting with A Princess of Mars, nor with Howard's Conan yarns or Lieber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser series (first is Swords and Deviltry).

Knife tax: Here are my three current Ti/Ti folders. :)

Thanks! I just wrapped up the original Necroscope series from the 1980s. That is, the first five books form a series and I just finished the fifth book. There are other books but apparently with new characters in the same universe. It's easily the most interesting take I've seen on Vampires, the prose is excellent, and it spans genres including science fiction, horror, fantasy, and even spy adventure across those books. Highly recommended.

... and here is what happened to that Kizer T1.

Have its twin. It's been my most carried folder since it arrived - stellar design from LG.

Man that point slides into material exceptionally well. That subtle belly all the way. Smooth as butter, but that's a given with the King right. :)
