Tkell blade finishes disclosures..

I looked at a lot of pictures of his knives and none seem to be that splotchy and, well, poorly finished. Hopefully he gets it sorted in your favor.
Hard to say just based off of pictures on a screen so take it for what it’s worth but as the kids say nowadays. . . Daaaamn!

That finish does look pretty terrible. Maybe it’s different in real life though. . .
 
Scratches are definitely not from kydex. TKell sheaths are some the best.
Here's a photo of old on left and new construction on right. There's no rubbing the blade period. Holstering can get tricky. The old knife was worn on a vest attached molle left chest tip up. The knife temple point got snagged on a line popped out and sailed overboard. First knife was NiB tumbler finished. It never showed a scratch in 4 yrs of service.
Knuckles, spend the ten bucks and get a membership. Trust me it’ll be worth it. This place grows on you.

If I decide to keep the knife, I'll start messing with the black, see if it can removed without bead blasting.
