I thought y'all would like to see what a nearly 75yo battleworn veteran looks like;-/
Hard to say just based off of pictures on a screen so take it for what it’s worth but as the kids say nowadays. . . Daaaamn!I looked at a lot of pictures of his knives and none seem to be that splotchy and, well, poorly finished. Hopefully he gets it sorted in your favor.
Knuckles, spend the ten bucks and get a membership. Trust me it’ll be worth it. This place grows on you.Scratches are definitely not from kydex. TKell sheaths are some the best.
Here's a photo of old on left and new construction on right. There's no rubbing the blade period. Holstering can get tricky. The old knife was worn on a vest attached molle left chest tip up. The knife temple point got snagged on a line popped out and sailed overboard. First knife was NiB tumbler finished. It never showed a scratch in 4 yrs of service.
Sez you.Knuckles, spend the ten bucks and get a membership. Trust me it’ll be worth it. This place grows on you.
I meant like a fungus. . .Sez you.
Not under that name. I don't know the guy, so can't say if he has a membership under a different handle.TKell isn't a member here?
If I decide to keep the knife, I'll start messing with the black, see if it can removed without bead blasting.Hard to say just based off of pictures on a screen so take it for what it’s worth but as the kids say nowadays. . . Daaaamn!
That finish does look pretty terrible. Maybe it’s different in real life though. . .
