To 110, or not to 110, that is the question...

I am MUCH more comfortable with my 112's and even more so with my Vantages. I prefer pocket carry to sheath carry, pistol and extra magazine on my belt...why should I keep my 110's?

cause they are 110s.:D

sometimes that extra blade length comes in handy. opening boxes and things where any size blade works isnt a big deal and doesn't matter. when your doing tasks where ya need the longer blade its matters. course if ya never need it then ya dont.

BTW nice collection there of 110s.

I prefer the 112 size myself, but did pick up a 110 recently. So .... in my opinion, out of the ones you show I think you should keep at least two. A standard one, or a standard one with an upgraded blade steel and a slim or slim pro. Mostly because they are well built, have a great warranty and might just come in handy some day.

I understand the pistol and spare magazine, real estate on a belt can dictate these things. I sometimes pocket carry a pistol and find a knife on a sheath more handy, especially when I'm out and about on our property.

Also, maybe keep them all as sometime down the line you might just ask yourself why you got rid of something that you already paid for and owned and that they didn't take up much space. Also, you might meet someone or already know someone who would really appreciate receiving a nice knife as a gift ... again something that is already paid for.

As jbmonkey states because they are 110’s! It’s just wrong not to own a 110:D

Nice collection!

I’ve never had a problem carrying a 110 in my pocket. I do so regularly. I don’t really get it.

Anyhow, the 112 feels small to me. I like em, but they feel too small. If you wanna get rid of your 110s you won’t have much of a problem getting it done.

quite honestly, only you would know
what would fit your requirements best..
deciding factors could be viewed
from many angles.
from practicality to
a personality thing.
if you have a set of preferences
that works now, it is because experience
had helped to formulate and develop
your present set of preferences.
it took time to get where you are now :)
but i hear brass is back in vogue.
"antiviral germ-free brass" :)
(the time is so right for a scaleless
full brass 110.)
yup! its quite a heavy folder to go back to.
unfortunately there is no two ways about it.
a classic brass 110 is something one
either loves or loathes altogather.
good luck with the decision making :)
just my 2 cents.

I used to carry my 112's more than my 110's... until the 110 LT came out. Now the 110LT usually is the first Buck I grab (when I feel like carrying a Buck and I know it might get banged up).

Hitch and Timber makes a great pocket slip for the 110 that helps keep them more upright in the back pocket.

I like the 110 but if its under a shirt or coat it could be considered a concealed weapon as our state has a 3.5 inch max law. So that pushes me to the 112. I guess that's why I come to like the 112 so much.

Is this actually possible to contemplate? You better get tested for covid. They say you lose your sense of taste when you have it and can’t smell either. Lol. There are some options out there to try. And a 110 isn’t that much bigger just 5/8th or so. I used to think it would be to big but after carrying one daily for a few months it doesn’t draw my attention any more. But I’m conditioned to extra gear with my job and I need more pockets in summer because in winter I have a coat with 8 total pockets. Lol. Adapt and condition yourself to meet the need !

Sometimes size matters
If you’d like to carry a 110 I’ve heard it could be pocket carried in a 1911 magazine pouch

I carry the 110 in a nylon sheath on the weak side and hardly know it's there. I love the 112 but given the choice I always go with the 110. More is better I guess.
