To all the knife fidgeters...

Traditionals as of late... Open, close, admire. Admire in the open position w secondary. Look closely at it in the closed position. Sebenzas are laying next to traditionals so I will alternate when the mood strikes me.
 
I have a PM2 with an extremely well worn detent thanks to constant flicking Then maybe Axis lock Benchmades (Contego, Ritter) the heavier blades swing a little better. My favorite flippers are a 4th gen Xm-18 and the Benchmade Precinct... it has an adjustable lock pin and is surprisingly smooth. I also flick my CRKs.. because break in is a chore.
 
As I can't legally own butterfly knives.

I also love fidgiting with my Cqc7 flipper. Obviously karambits but be careful you don't cut yourself. My SOCP dagger from benchmade too as it has a ring and is safer to spin than karambits.
 
First, balisongs are the ultimate knife to play with the for me. Outside of that a knife with a good flipper, axis, compression or axis lock. Linerlocks are pretty fun too. Backlocks, while great, are not as fun to play with. And triad locks are the worst to play with, but awesome in their own right.
 
I like to fool with my CRKs. Love how nicely the lock open with that precision "snick" sound.

Once in a while if I think Chris Reeve is asleep somewhere I quickly flip my Umnumzaan open, but just once, as I hear he sheds a single tear every time someone flicks one of his knives. 😃

Lionsteel KUR when I want a big heavy THWACK, otherwise probably a Kizer Gemini or a manix 2 or PM2 if I'm in a middle finger spydie flick mood.
 
Unassisted knives with axis lock come in first, zt0562cf is a lot of fun too but I get bored with it after a couple days.
 
Spydiechef and Umnumzaan. The sounds they make are just........ pleasing.

I do that with my 25 on occasion but make sure to change locations after flicking so that the anti flick task force can't get a lock on my location.
