To Chiruwa or not - That is the question

I was thinking he was that exercise dude with the girlyman striped Daisy Duke shorts and fro red hair do?

I like Chuck Norris just fine, same with Sylvester Stallone, but their best movies are the ones where they don't talk much.

When they speak it all goes away for me.

The guy who advertises his juicer in TV?

Naw man... He's talking about Richard Simmons, sweatin to the oldies. :highly_amused:

I bet yall dont know who Steve Stevens is either;)

Skip over to about 2:08 for Keith Richards today.

Added an opinel (junior) 3 times into hot oil over the course of the last two days. The handle (modded) weighs 15 grams. After the treatment it clocks in at 19gram. 24percent increase!

What was interesting, screwing on the lid tight (wouldn't work with a Kuk or only a very big jar) when it was hot created a vacuum in the jar while it cooled down.
I also saw many very tiny bubbles on the surface after a while. Could that have been air being sucked out of the handle because of the vacuum?

The action is smooth. Nothing swelled up so much that it would pinch the blade or pivot.

I will do it a few more times and see if I can get it to drink even more.

24% increase. Wow those wood handles are thirsty.

I think French Opinels are the best folders available on the market for anyone on a budget.
Maybe rust prone, but man this steel can take a sharp edge.

First thing I do when I buy a new backpack is to pop an Opinel in one of the small pockets. Then I forget about it and always happy to find them there when needed.

Checking the horns daily, so far no appreciable expansion after a week of Balistol rubs & several days of soaking in pure mineral oil.

I'll look for the Hooflex, but I'm thinking those horns are not gonna come back.
