To Open Or Not To Open, That Is The Question

Good to go!

Yep! Now that it's out of course.

I know you said 'mint is mint' but I don't think anything that comes in a blister pack is going to make you any kinda of money down the road. Maybe - way down the road. Glad you decided to open & use it.

I'm still a [relatively] young man. Could've been worth a lot in 20+ years maybe. Good point on the blister packaging though.

Cut open that packaging with a knife! Then use that knife to cut open other knife packaging! Its a never ending cycle! AHHHHHHH!

And a vicious cycle it is!

Open it. In the end, you will still be able to sell it as a collectors item but you just won't make AS much money if you sell it. If you open it, you can get money and pleasure from it. If you don't open it, you only get money.

Edit to add, good work on opening it :)

I will take good care of it. Thanks for the opening kudos!

i just realized and don't, and never have, owned a skyline- whats wrong with me??!!

oh and be sure to use it well:D

I seriously, seriously doubt it's ever going to be worth a substantial amount of money....so seriously, just open the damn thing. It's not expensive.

So glad that you opened it! I opened mine as soon as the box from Cabela's went from the UPS guy's hand to mine! Glad I did, because mine has a sloppy closure detent, blade moves a few degrees when closed, enough to expose the blade tip/point, going to send it back next week, it will be my first time having to send anything back to the factory in quite a few years of Kershaw collecting, actually looking forward to experiencing the fantastic customer service that everyone raves about.

Anyway, even if you don't "hard use" it, how are you going to fondle it when it's still in the package! lol! BTW, that was a good suggestion about saving the clam-pack; I save all of mine!

Another good point in another comment: buy two! If I could afford it, I would buy two (at least) of every Kershaw made, one for show and one for go!
