I know I already posted this in another thread, but I think it deserves more light in center-stage... this is in reference with a comment that was aimed at Kershaw/Thomas Welk in another thread that wasn't presented in the best manner.

To Thom... a valued asset to the forum:

Thom man... you can't just up and leave the ship, when you're pretty much the Captain of Kershaw, and you're it's main navigator.

I've only been here for a 100 or so posts, and a couple of weeks... but, I can tell you this. After getting my second knife (I know, only second) for my collection which is a Benchmade... the next TWO knives (yes, 50%) will be Kershaws... the Spec Bump and Leek, both in S30V and G-10.

The biggest reason not to go though is apart from all your valued fans and customers... is that in the dawn of the Kershaw forum, there cannot be an eclipse. You HAVE TO... I repeat, HAVE TO get a Kershaw forum up and running on here, and I will be one of the first, I guarantee you, to be in that line waiting.

In hopes that you will stay man...

We would be pleased to open a special forum for Kershaw, or if Kershaw doesn't feel ready to make that much of a commitment at this time, you are very welcome to go on posting in this forum.

I am all for Kershaw, and would like to see them as involved in these forums as they could possibly be.

I would love to see a Kershaw forum here, especially in light of the new designs which I think will make a lot of people here very happy.

I'm just getting on the Kershaw train! I have ~6 knives from them and with all this talk of s30v and G-10, all I can say is "all aboard!!" Aye(get it?) too would have a Kershaw fourm here. Thanks.

Kershaw is one of many gems in the knife world. Their close association with the likes of Ken Onion, and "american made" commitment (even though they're owned by Kia) make Kershaw my favorite knife company.

Alright, alright!! You broke me down, I'll keep posting where I see a little Kershaw input is needed.

Thanks to you all for the kind words and encouragement, and I do really mean that.

Cougar, I appreciate the offer, and will contact you when/if Kershaw is ready for a full commitment.

Ok now, back to your regular scheduled posting.

Glad to hear you're staying. I'm brand new here, so maybe my opinion doesn't matter much, though. :)

I have a Rainbow Leek and without a doubt it's one of my favorite EDCs. With a lefty low-ride clip it would be my favorite knife ever. ;)

Cool deal

I bought a Vapor from Wallmart for my wife for Christmas. (so she wouldn't have to borrow my knives, she likes quality knives now). I have to say, it's the best chinese made knife I've ever used. I will definitely have to get some of thier American made knives. If the quality of thier low end <$20 knives is that high, I imagine higher end knives are really great.

a great start for kershaw would be a donated knife for a passaround-have 8-10 guys chip in a few bucks that would cover what its worth ,kershaw would donate the funds to a charity and one guy would keep it when its over-
i say a nakamura would be a nice start-lol

I think a great start for a Kershaw forum would be for you to donate a Kershaw Nakamura for a pass-around in gratitude for their appearance here! :)
