So I made a promise I'd do a giveaway of a large Sebenza when I reached 90 days of clean time. I also said I planned on wave modding it. Well, I'm halfway there and I'm kinda starting to rethink the wave thing. I figured I'd put it to a poll since its going to be "your" knife and not mine.

Congrats on halfway! I voted no, but its your give away and anyone should be grateful for a free Seb either way.

Never did want one, but I did want to stop by and say congratulations.

FWIW, I would say wave it, give your creative juices a good stretch.

Waving it would be like having a very nice painting, and taking a dump on it.

I can't think of any "wave" mods done to knives that were not originally waved that looked decent.

Depending on who crapped on "said" painting it could make it worth a lot more money. What an exciting conversation piece it would be!

White trash guy - Skeeter, is that a pilé of crap on that painting?

White trash guy's friend - You bet your a$$ that is a pile of crap. Megan Fox dropped that deuce! It used to have corn in it, but when I won the bid from ebay I had to make good on a promise to the lord!

White trash guy - Hot damn son you got a deal, but who is ebay? Is he that fellor that works at the liquor store?

LOL ... wow Sorry about that. I am on some good pain meds due to recent surgery.

Morale of the story? Some guys need to be careful when praying and poop on some paintings may increase the value/conversations. :o

LOL @ Squirrel!!!

I wouldn't be surprised to find a painting with Megan Fox crap sell on ebay for thousands.

BTW I vote "wave it"! One of a kind CM modified Sebenza.

And best wishes on staying clean. I had to quit alcohol because I got pancreatitis when I turned 23. I know it was specially hard for me since everyone around me would drink. After a while you'll get used to it.

First off its great that you've made is halfway!!! and about the GAW, Who cares? This GAW will be the closest I get to a sebenza for awhile lol!

Ok .. what does "wave it" mean? I do not know, but I still stand by my vote.

Basically he'll be cutting a small notch next to the thumb stud to act like a Emerson wave.

Has anyone ever done this to a Sebbie? I think it works well on Spydercos, but they have that hump that is a nice place for a wave hook. I want pics or a drawing or something. I'm very curious even though I'm not a big wave fan.

I voted no. I just can't see the need to turn a Sebenza into a tactical knife.

And many congratulations on staying clean. I have seen first hand what a struggle it can be. It's a long row to hoe, but worth it in every way.

My dad has been sober for 20+ years. I can't begin to explain all the awesomeness sobriety has brought into his life...
Good luck on your journey. ...oh do what u do and wave it....

Congratulations on 30 days CM. I know how hard it is. I been sober since 1998 and the first 6 months were the hardest. I couldn't imagine life without a buzz and my waking hours were spent in a haze of one sort or another. Now I'm fulfilled with 4 generations of family(from my spry 87 year old mom, to my 6 year old granddaughter). I wouldn't have it any other way now.

Fourth option could be wait until there's a winner and see if he wants the seb waved or not.
