It is true. I dont think Ive seen a waved sebenza. Im just not big into waved anythings. So its hard for me to approve. But god knows not everyone likes what I like either, lol.
 
I voted for waving the knife. It would "damage"/reduce the value of the knife but part of what makes having a knife enjoyable is working on it and modding it, and I think it'd be good for Charlie Mike to enjoy his knife a little before giving it away.
 
First of all, congratulations and good luck on your road to sobriety. It takes a lot of courage to admit you have a problem and even more to do something about it. Well done!

I think you should find some way to make it unique and incorporate that the knife is a giveaway celebrating your 90 days sober. Wave or not, I'd say its up to you to make that decision and no one else's.

I voted: "Who cares?" but really, a CM'd Sebenza would be historic, as mentioned above, and you can always purchase an additional blade from CRK, to switch out when you feel like going all gentelmanly with the knife.

Someday, someone will be telling their grand-kids about this guy so crazy he waved a Sebenza, and having the proof will be priceless.:D I'd be proud to carry it.

Heck ya. You will enjoy waving a Sebenza and if the winner doesn't like the waved blade, they can send the knife to CRK for a reblade.

Secondly, YOU'RE giving the knife away. If your heart desires to wave it then by all means do it! You shouldn't go by what the people who are already getting the chance to win a free knife want or don't want.

You're the one who's giving this awesome display of generosity. It's your choice to do what you want with it. Screw what the others want you to do!

Lastly thank you for doing this awesome give away! Regardless of what you do with the Sebenza I am still thankful for the chance to own one for free.

Is the blade stop in a Sebenza capable of handling the thwack of a wave deployment? I would think an Umnumzaan better suited to the task of a wave opener.

honestly its your giveaway and if people dont like that your waving the sebenza then they can either:

A) not be a part of the giveaway

b) not complain because its a chance at a free knife.


I think you should just do what you originally had planned and more importantly stay sober :thumbup:
 
I can't even get myself to stop drinking so much coffee. I have seen and loved some of your wave mods, but I knew with the general cult like attitude toward crk's the "no" option would get a lot of votes. Congratulations!
