Not with all the things to step over and around, and the swampy areas.
The way in was very marshy with all the flood level rains we've had along the way...strangely, our site itself wasn't too bad this time. :cool:

That was an awesome adventure.

I was amazed you were able to do so much bushcrafty work without embedding a knife in your wrist. then running bleeding and screaming through the woods back to your truck and drive yourself to the hospital...oh wait that was someone else and he was probably just in the backyard.

The SOG Snarl is okay for the price.
It doesn't fall out of the sheath; some have noted a slight rattle in the sheath, but it is secure.
It is thick behind the edge, but mine cuts fairly well after the sharpening I gave it.

If you like the looks of it, I say go ahead and get one. :thumbsup:
Pretty sure SOG has discontinued them, but you can find them for sale for about $37 pretty easily.
At that price, why not? Better than deciding 5 years down the road that you regret NOT getting one, or paying far more than it is worth. ;)
