I buy the wicks at an Amish store, but they are here, item WK185. I am sure anything would work as long as it fit down the neck. I like these bottles because if they tip over, nothing spills out.

If you are going to put them in a tin or something, I always dip the cap in melted wax to seal them so they have no chance of ever coming loose while rattling around. Kind of like to see military water purification tablets bottles used to be.
Make sure you use a small piece of aluminum foil to regulate the size of the flame. A very small hole is all you need and they burn a long time. I never tested the burn time this way, but I did burning them with a large flame, and it lasted about 40 minutes. With a small flame, I would imagine 2 or 3 times that anyway.
Great picture CS. I am not very good with a camera, but you men sure take some beautiful shots of the outdoors, and gear. I do enjoy looking at them.
Burning with large flame.
