Hello all,

A shop where i live (vienna, Austria) had a ZT0888 available, so i snaped it

Congrats, those are both amazing ZT knives and the top two of their best. Way to snap both the triple seven and triple eight. Gorgeous pair.
 
Wow very nice your were able to grab one. And a very low serial number, I think thats the lowest one I've seen
 
Nice! I owned serial number 0005, but sold it to a local collector. My 0888 gets carried so I really don't care about the serial number.
 
Nice score, and a really nice pair. You know they're gonna breed, don't you? Better destroy your credit cards...:D

That's a month work for me, you got there!

I will never spent that much on a knife (i bet you all said this once :D)...

I must admit. If i had the money laying around and I saw this beauty laying in a shop, I would buy it!
 
thanks for the kind comments. Yes i think i got it for a fair price, unlike the 777 (and i got it from a dealer too...)

I wasn't going to get it when Kai announced it, but since it was available and i had a 777 it became slightly logical to get it.

I have heard about that $3500 jobby on ebay, that's completely crazy!!! but if someone is willing to pay why not!!

I am going to do a video comparing both of them, will be on YT at some point this week.

If i was to sell them i would do a raffle so that everyone has a chance to own them for a fraction of the brand new price!!!

Actually, there is a 888 for sale on ebay right now!!! for another 24 hours even $1200 from San Gabriel, Ca
 
For the love of me I can't understand how ZT doesn't mass produce the 0888. Literally every knife enthousiast would buy at least two of them.
