Ramzar, looks ok, we shall if i get one or it is available in Vienna!!! judging by ZT's website there seem to be no release date, or is there?
The 0454 was Blade Show's 2013 Overall Knife of the Year and is going to be amazing with the three part composite blade (CPM D2 on the cutting edge and spine while 14C28N stainless steel forms the angular design in the middle), similar 3D-machined carbon fiber handles with titanium lockbar (hardened stainless steel lockbar insert) and KVT flipper action.

Strictly my opinion here but that is hands down the 2nd most horrible looking knife in the ZT line up. Second only to the ghastly 0121. It's so artsy fartsy it looks like it was designed by Karl Lagerfeld or Jean Paul Gaultier to match their purse...Damn that thing is nasty.
You should have handled it at Blade this year. The thing is PERFECT. Perfect flipper action, perfect fit and finish, perfect ergos. Being able to see and handle the knife made the trip to Blade worth while.

People have argued for a version or versions with plain M390 blade stonewashed or DLC (like a 0454-M390 and 0454-M390BLK) more reminiscent of the original Dmitry Sinkevich Cardinator:

Trouble is that ZT uses such vehicles as a marketing showcase for their technological and manufacturing prowess. So, they go to the cutting edge (and at times bleeding edge) and this time with a three layer blade. I, for one, hope that they'll come up with a single steel blade version but I'm doubtful. The reason they did so for the 0777 project is that they just could not complete the production run without incurring additional losses.
A shop where I preordered the 0454 said there would be a lottery on January 4th to determine which dealers would get some. I guess ZT is following in the footsteps of the 888 release. But I hope there's more than 250 of these beauties produced.
