A little mineral oil will give you what you want!

For the temporary look, you can also try water...until it dries.

Or, just handle them obsessively and they'll slowly darken and deepen in color as your skin oils accumulate.

The colors are true. I'll be putting some mineral to one of them very soon.
It really brings out the rich colors:thumbup:

Yes, they are way more pale than I'd expected but they are great.... Hefty! I like that. They are every bit of the .25" they were supposed to be (wish I had a mic to measure them..... They do fit in a Spec Ops though (for now ;-)

Rock on, guys! These are some really sweet blades!

Got a couple OD ADs today as well and must say it is a rather smashing combination.
Can't believe how nice they look together.
I had a couple of GWs in the same combo and didn't like them nearly as much as on the ADs.

To answer a couple of questions... some already answered...

Pale slabs... this is how every knife with tiger hide I have came... a little mineral oil and you'll get the intense colors you see in most photos. Better yet... use it and over time, it will turn out more natural and perminant.

Both of the mic out at .270" :eek: .... mmmmm fatties! :D :D
 
Awesome. Where is the balance on the LEs? I missed out on the LE but at least I have a SE coming as a consolation. :)

Just got home from work. Package on the front porch. WOW! Number 170 and 171 are here. No Pics. My camera is a gonner, but they look one helluva lot like the above. You gotta hold these to believe them. I love my SH's, FSH's, FSHLE's # 139 and 140, asst. SAJACTACS, my CGBATAC, ordered two, Black W/ Black Mag G-10 only got one, Amy's on it I hope. etc. etc., but these LE BATAC's, are my favorite Infi to date. My fusion kydex leather is ordered From leatherman, and I think these will be my favorite carries for a long time. Perfect size and heft for chores, and defense if needed. Just beautiful!!!!!
 
Got my first piece of INFI today. BATACLE #242. One question. When I first laid my hands upon this exquisite hunk of steel,my hands bacame clammy and I broke out in a sweat. Then a feeling of euphoria came over me. It was over as quickly as it hit me. My wife said I had this huge grin on my face for about 10 minutes and was unresponsive. Has anyone else ever expierienced this and is this normal???
