Today's Journey Greenbottom/Pt Pleasant

Last time I lived in Gods country I went to charley's creek to get a cook stove. I know the halfway market. Did you know Roy"Gene" Meadows? He sold furniture and flea market type stuff over on 60 about half way between hurricane and St Albans

I have a Smith and wesson pump shotgun Mom bought me new in 1975 from Morris watch shop. It was way to much gun for a 12 year old but I wanted it

I grew up in Nitro and my dad and grandad traded guns all the time so they took me to Morris a lot. Then when I moved down here I went a lot. I go to Dunlaps in Hurricane now but Morris had some real cool stuff. Was sad to see it go.

WVHILLS, I go to Rogers in Ona (Macks Market) to get hay all the time.

Last weekend though I had to go to Gallipolis Ferry. That's what reminded me what a beautifuly drive Rt 2 is. Wanted to take my wife back down it Sunday but she had to go to the legislature interims so we were off Monday and we went then. She used to work for the Health Dept in Cabell Co and drive it a lot.
 
My aunt lived in the house that stood where dunlaps is now most of her adult life.My 45-70 handi was bought there at dunlaps. Blacks Sunoco Is her husbands Family .My cousin Denny worked there for years my still work there The last time I lived in W.V. I lived up the hollow behind the muzzleloader club on BlueLick Rd.
