Loki, honest to god, what's a yawara - a kubotan or similar? Keychain that acts as a fistload or a jujo stick?

I had knives on order from him for 18 months, when I was told that they would be ready in 3-4 months. I tried contacting him countless times and got the same bull$hit when he responded. I posted on his forum politely asking when my knives would be delivered. My posts were promptly deleted. I asked for a refund but as I remember he said it would take him longer for me to get MY money back than him to finish the knives. I finally settled for cutting a deal with him out of desparation do get something in exchange. I got one of the knives I ordered, with one he actually had in stock that I didn't really need but didn't want this crap to continue much longer, and a roll of paracord to make up the difference.
I know where you are coming from. Needless to say, you should have never ordered from him, just like I shouldn't have. All I can say is don't hold your breath....imo there are other fine knives out there that cost about the same, every bit as good....with a 3 day wait from 1SKS, Knifeoutlet, and various other venders.

actually parker i was sent 2 some time ago as well instead of items i ordered, they must be what Newt has in stock, i gave them away if you recall. They do look well made as all of Newt's goodies do when yo can get them

Russ, I've visited Newts forum a number of times and can verify everything you've posted.
was real surprised at your treatment, especially since it apeared to me that you supported Newt to the end.
I paid for my BHB in D2 almost 3 years ago and still don't have my blade.
but based upon many others slowly getting their blades. still do believe I will get my BHB sometime.
fully believe Newt is pedeling fast as he can. He's anounced that after he finishes all paid for oders. He's done, no more Newt knives. out of business!
don't agree with how Newt conducted business. but can't fault quality of his work. always thought base problem was he charged below his actual cost to produce for his blades, not just for materials.
Newt be charging $125 for a full sized knife, when a comparable quality hand made knife would be selling for $300+.
not that it makes any difference anymore. looks like Newt is doing abi very slowly what he anounced. which is finishing up all paid for oders and flaming out.
