My family is all over the north. Our local branch is mostly around Genova (Genoa to you Americanis) and especially in Bologna (mostly the countryside -- those big cities are too slicky boy). The roots of my portion of the vast family are pretty rural and agricultural ... and a bit nautical.


ADDED: It's good to see that BlackDiamond recognizes a good deal when he finds it. Just remember -- Italian women are both passionate and fiery!!

I've always loved phisics even if I ended up into engineering. I have a 16" Van de Graaff generator in my home corridor ! My brother graduated in physics and specialized in lasers and nuclar phisics. He was working for a couple of years near Washington DC.

This one will be quite nice. If you attaempt to remove the coating, be warned that it does not come off easy like the new coatings do. This coating was meant to stay on.

I began my adulthood as a theoretical and laser physicist, though not in DC. I wonder if I've met your brother? Might not have ... I'm pretty ancient and I've been behind 'closed walls' for too long. I know very few of the young generation of physicsts.

Damn straight!!!:thumbup: The old smooth black was crazy good at staying on. I don't remember how many pieces of wood I batoned with my SHSHII and the finish barely rubbed!

I dunno...sure would like to see a come back of it. Hell I would love to see a run of SHSHII with hand shaped micarta for that matter!!!:thumbup:

Oh well....maybe the secondary market will pay off one day. Damn! Still missing my SHSHII....I really need to get an INIFI fix before I do something crazy!

My brother was working in a lab in GAITHERSBURG MD. Then he went back to Italy and now he's moving from physics to economy because there are no job positions here for physics.

My set of originals are all fatties and I sure would like a thin one say around .200 thick.
