Tony eat your heart out.

Awesome pics!

Is that just mostly state areas or public lands/unmarked areas or do you own parts of it?

I'd love to come see that area sometime.

All of the above.

We’re lucky to have State land as well as Power Company property and quite a few preserves and other private land that is open to hiking in the area.

I volunteer some of my free time to help maintain the local trail systems, so I know all the good spots.

Today I returned to the Fatwood Forrest.

And harvested a couple of big chunks of that stump we found.

Then I tracked a coon through the fresh snow/ice.

Checked out a fresh scrape.

And finally built a small fire around sunset.

Thanks, Mike.

Cool pics and it looks like some great areas.

I really liked the overhang you built the one fire in.

More great pics Mike, if we get out tomorrow, maybe we can go back to that spot. I promised a couple of guys I would get them some chert.

Nice pics, I am going to try and get out this weekend, but it is supposed to be a bad snow storm coming in. And my brother is going in for back surgery tomorrow. (And he is only 26..)

PS. That fire looks like it is nice and toasty..
