Well, I found a few places within 75 miles from home, that carry Gregory packs. Problem is, not the right models. I found a Gregory Baltoro 75 for $220 shipped on line, with a no question, they pay for it return. Think I'm going to go ahead and order it, load it up with my gear, and go for a walk, see how I like it. Nothing to lose. Hopefully it works out for me, as I just don't care for the Osprey Aether series colors.
Ordered it. Hopefully it will get here soon.

If it fits your big ass you'll like it Dubz. The Gregorys I've owned all had fabulous suspension systems and carry like a dream.
I'm hoping it does fit. Like I said before, the guy at REI didn't think the large Baltoro 75 would fit me. He was very knowledgeable, but I hate to not try based on that alone. Some reviews I've read, on the Gregory Baltoro vs the Osprey Aether, said if you had broad shoulders, go with the Gregory. The Gregory's colors are a lot better, and it has won awards for it's suspension system. I'm willing to give it a go.

murph probably knows about crossfit. it's not for everyone. did it for six months. it's not for me :)

WODs can be a little overwhelming sometimes, and some have more risk than reward. I am always wary of ones that have power lifting exercises after fatiguing exercises. Something about having more than my body weight in metal over my head when I'm already exhausted doesn't sit well with me.

Most of the PX90 work out uses very little in the way of weights. Soon as my rotator cuff is fixed Im back on PX90. Right now its just short sets of push ups and pull ups with leg raises while doing the pull ups, and no weight lunges.

There's a sale for Mosin-Nagants, $133 out the door ($99 plus tax and background check). Been wanting to pick up an oldie, and it's much cheaper than a Garand. Is $133 a decent price?

That's a good price, especially right now when everything is hard to find and more $. I payed $99 for one 5 years ago.

Here it is.

i should probably look into PX90 again, quit my gym (which is far away now)...

have an oly bar, and some plates, a concept 2 erg, free weights, kettles, and ... stuff. i even set up an old tv/dvd player for viewing such antics.

considering getting a CHUCK NORRIS Total Gym XLS if i can source one locally and cheap, then as they say, bob's my uncle.

and motivation

i tend to see them for $120 or so locally (background check free here, they charge for those?)

saw some nice czech silver tip ammo, 880 round for $150. that's gone. gone gone gone.

Yeah, thats going to be the more harder and more expensive part, ammo. So glad I have ammo cans stuffed with ammo from when it was cheap.

We don't pay for background check here either but that's one of the new laws our state is trying to push through after Connecticut. Oh well, $25 wont stop me.

Thanks fellas, I may just swing by and start my 10 day wait. Gotta make sure my safe can handle the new rifle, those things look long!

P90X is pretty comprehensive, it's also nice to have them tell you when your time is up so you don't end up taking 5 minute breaks ;) I wish I had quick adjustment dumbbells like the Bowflex Selecttech when I did it, much more convenient than changing out plates.

I'm really wanting a Mosin too. You can still find ammo for pretty decent prices online if you look around a bit.

In the last snark thread 1066 of the Vik clan posted a Breeden blade which I liked. Picked one up for me and one for mom. They came in today. Just did a quick wrap, looking at doing scales for mom's.
