BF has been good for me for the last day or two until now. I couldn't even get it to load for upwards of an hour. The hackers that are doing this could go suck on a big one...
 
Would you guys mind giving me a suggestion on a pack?

I'm lookin at pickin up a light, daypack/single overnight type pack. nothing too intense, just something dedicated for daytrips and maybe the odd overnight here and there.

Up until now, i just empty my school notebooks and textbooks to the floor of my car, swap em out for supplies, etc and hit the road. I'd like to upgrade myself to something a little more suited for the job. Preferably somewhat affordable for a poor college student with a part-time job :D

I know this community is a wealth of info on this kind of stuff, just wondering what yalls thoughts were. tanks

They posted in facebook that it's the same old server issue, not pinpointed yet. They're working on a permanent solution.

Sorry Dubz, not yet. It's gonna be mailed out from Ohio tomorrow. Should arrive Thursday.

Mini rant: Am I the only one that finds it annoying to see people posting pictures of thousands and in some cases tens of thousands of dollars worth of knives and yet can't fork over $10 or $25 to support this place? I browse through the edc thread and some others once in a while and see this and for some reason it just gets to me.

If you can find a gently used Kelty Blanca 2000 you'll be in business. Might be the best daypack ever made.
 
Thanks murph and trade, really helpful stuff. I've got some research to do and try to see what i can manage. I'm really likin what im seeing out of these keltys. Thanks so much for the tips.

great review, that was helpful. I really like the map 3500, I think I'm gonna give it a shot, it looks like it really has everything I'm lookin for.

I'm not really in the know when it comes to pack prices but the 3500 seems like a very fair price for what you get.
