Finally getting some woods time this weekend. Doing the kids' birthday hikes back to back. Saturday is Lara's(gonna be 10), Sunday will be Gary's(gonna be 14). Hopefully pick some new routes, something short like 5 or 6 miles. Basically hike a loop, stop for lunch kinda thing. I get to try out my new patrol pack! No idea what blades are going yet though.

Also, I told myself in and around April that I'd stop buying knives for a year. A big fat Fail to me today, as I snatched up a Wohlwend off the Exchange... since I have no idea when Mark's getting me my next knife, I might as well get a couple of his used ones.

BRL, you and me both. I was on strict austerity during January and most of February, but I just got in a big pile from Spec-Ops.
T.H.E. Pack, two Combat Masters, two dual sheaths. And I ordered T.H.E. Pack frame off Amazon a few minutes ago because I had a gift card.
The gear is top notch. Great looking pack. Many of y'all know I like the Combat Masters.
Good day overall. Found out I got a position at work I wanted. And I found out my new boss next fall will be a person I like and trust.
Don't know if I'm livin' right, but I'm sure as hell working hard.
