Ok, I just found your thread on the Busse forum. Looks great, but it's not a HH anymore! Now it's slighty thinner than a regular FSH, right? But with a better edge, I would imagine.
 
its a stripped heavy heart... with all the shit that jerry did not want to finish out,(because it was just going to the skunker store) surface ground. to .243 thick... with a nastyfied convex edge!!

Of course Opinions do vary and most of those "Woody" Knives will never get used, same as most of the Straight Handled Busse knives soon as the owner finds out what the knife is worth now.

I really like to throw the older knives, they seem to feel made for that in my hand.

But now when I throw it is only one at a time per target to lower that whole Busse knife CLANG thing when one thrown knife hits another.

I have not yet had a Handle issue with a Busse knife aside from some of them not being comfortable and needing Steel and Micarta Radiused or shaped.

The wood is pretty and all but i would rather have a beat up ugly one:D

the only Busses i have used are the ones i bought that way... i always end up selling the pretty ones.... i might have a disorder or something...lol

plus all i have to cut up out here is cactus and rock....which reminds me...Jeremy where is that log you were gonna send me????:)
 
Well, I'm still working up a good log!! But, am gonna grind your knuckle knife tonight, sorry on taking so long on the sword, but, I have to be in the zone to grind those! In the zone usually not after working 9 hours already then going to grind!! Lol. Wanting a beer or some liquer,,
