Just bought a PINK Spyderco Endura IV... part of my grande plan to lure the missus over to the Dark Side...

If all goes well, she'll probably wind up with a nice Camp 10 in the future :D

Good day Gents!!!!!

tonite i need a new bottle of scotch...what should i get????

i have learned that i prefer the highlands over the islays.... the islays i have tried taste like bandaids and beef jerky (but in a good way)

J, have you tried your wood chip tea yet????

Tonight. A mid shelf highland is in your future!! TAMAHDU. That is what you seek! 35 a bottle and nice!!!! Wood chip tea gets me drunk!! Lol

Hey skunker!

i saw your other thread (and i afraid to click your link...i am among the public...lol).

If you are into post-apocalyptic survival books as i am check out a series from S.M.Stirling

the premise of the on-going story is that something occurs which knocks out all technology (including firearms)

people need to escape the cities fight off cannibals and tyrnts and relearn how to survive without technology.

Good stuff:thumbup:

first book is called "Dies the Fire"

Damn, those are some fine hulahoops :)

ps: what would knock-out firearms ? They're not really technology based, but rather chemistry at its best (worst?)...

Well whatever you do don't get "The Last Centurion" it is a 450 page rant. It is the only book I have ever thought of returning... It is that bad.

I had to get a literary book "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle" in hopes of forgetting the other ever existed. The "Wind-up...." Is a beautifully written book that has been translated from Japanese. At 624 pages I expect that it will rinse the other from my memory. No guns bombs and space ships just a good story that starts with a man that loses his cat, job and wife. Other than the sad part about that cat it sounds like he is heading in the right direction.
