When I was 30 all I did was play golf, darts, drink and chase women. I was about 38 when I started to race bikes (second time around), hike and get healthy. At about 45 I started to backpack and fly fish again.

I just got this F'ing killer head light for my bicycle. It is so bring that the oncoming cars flash their high beams at me to turn it down. I used it for the first time this evening so I need to adjust it a bit not to blind drivers. 600 Lumes for 2.4 hours  or at lower levels up to 12 hours. It also has a low level light (not enough to ride with) that would be like an average flash light that would last 28 hours. It will be a great camp light too as the battery and lamp are all in one unit.

Sounds like what a lot of guys here use for night rides on mountain bike trails.

Hey, I'm 41 and I just shave above and below the lips so I don't have to clean the food out of my beard. :D

You are all just children!! Children ... I say!!!

Why, I'm sure I could grow a TREMENDOUS beard if I wanted to. :)

However, after many clean-shaven decades in the military, I just can't reconcile myself to it. Oh, well. :o:(

Made by Cygolite... called a Trion.

I have really come to enjoy starting to ride at about 5:15 and being out in the Headlands for the sunset and then riding about 45-60 min home in darkness.

It is a great time to be out because all the wildlife comes out too :)

I never took Skunk out there in the evening because he would have shot everything :grumpy:

;):p

Hey Tony -

Will that light up a budwieser bottle coming from behind you? Sheaaat I gave up road biking here in ATL years ago. Couple of punks hummed a coke bottle at me as they passed by doing about 80 - they forgot about the stop light a few hundred yards ahead (LOL)

Sure do miss that bike pump...
