Too many in the pocket?

On a couple of occasions I've carried two pocketknives during my normal work or weekend day, but 99% of the time I find one PK with multiple blades (most often a Stockman, recently a large Whittler, occasionally a Jack) to be enough. When I hunt I carry three knives; a 4" Stockman in my front pocket, a Buck 110 or 112 on my belt, and a fixed blade for skinning along with a small ceramic and steel sharpener in my pack. OH

Typically I have three knives on me. I always carry a SAK with pliers (usually a beat up deluxe tinker), a stockman and a modern folder. There is also a small FB in my coat. The stockman gets most cutting duties. The SAK is handy for the tools. The modern is there for when a situation calls for OHO. At work, I trade the stockman for a sodbuster jr.

Two onboard today: Vic Classic in tasteful silver alox and a Wenger Highlander (plain blade, not serrated):

The 84/85 mm size knives are new to me, and I'm becoming fond of them — although this one's a mite fat to accommodate the Phillips-head screwdriver.

Almost always carry two: one in each front pants pocket. Sometimes just one, other times a third knife in a coat pocket. Right now it's these two:

Extremely rare I would only have one, if I do it is a Case Medium Stockman gifted from my daughter. That is usually special events only. Probably add a Bubinga Opinel Slim for food duty.

At work I carry probably eight knives, but I'm a chef!

Right now, getting ready to go in, I have a typical load out in my pockets:
Vic Explorer Plus
Opinel No. 8 Garden Knife. (My favorite paring knife)
Vic Alox Cadet with an attached Vic Alox Mini-Champ

The Cadet is the working blade on boxes and such, which is pretty constant in a restaurant. I attached the Mini-Champ a couple months ago to replace my beloved LM Micra I carried for a couple of decades. I like the Vic tool set and opening method even better.

I never thought about a credit card type sharpener, I will be adding one to my gear bag I always carry. It has an Opinel No. 10, and a Mora Companion in it too. And a set of five kitchen knives. And a Leatherman Wave.

Yep, I'm a knife Knut....

I carry several slipjoints, usually a single blade at a little under 4" and then either a 2 blade Jack of some kind or a Medium Stockman.

Right now I have 6 slipjoints in my pockets :) I have no money, might as well carry knives.
Knives will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no knives.

Words to live by, Dave. I don't know whether to get that tattooed on my chest or chiseled on to my tombstone!
