Took me over half an hour to pick a knife today...

hey undertow82. if you worry about losing a sebenza go buy some pistol grip tape. then take your pocket clip off of the knife and stick some on the underside of it. then put the clip back on. works great.

Life is so complicated. Decisions Decisions... Which knife? Maybe two knives today? Maybe a small fixed blade? Which clothes? Which gun? Which belt? Which shoes? Drive the car or the truck? Maybe I ought to throw a machete in the truck? So many decisions.... oops. Forgot to eat today.

I usually pair up my knives so that the pair would be best suited together. I usual pair my ZT with a spyderco.

Beach/fishing/dirt: ZT500 Mudd & Spyderco Pacific Salt
Going out on the town: ZT302 & Spyderco Vallotton
Work day: ZT200st & Spyderco Gayle Bradley
School day/chill day: ZT350 & Spyderco Delica 4 lightweight

That's my usual rotation so most of my collection isn't neglected.

I do still have a few that I wish I could work into a rotation, but are usually left for hiking, camping, traveling, more specialized applications.

Luckily for me I only have 3 that I regularly carry, and each one matches certain clothes particularly well. Makes it a lot easier.

I used to have the same problem. I cured it by getting a Sebenza. I've since then traded/sold most of my folders and have never regretted the decision once. I have several SAKs and a few folders that I kept, but for EDC it is always the Sebenza. If I could only find a fixed blade that would work as well.

Had a similar dilemma today, decided on the sage 2. Love the sage series for EDC, they are so comfortable.

Yes, indeedy! I never regret packing my Sage no matter what the occasion. I honestly don't think it gets much better for production EDC folders until you hit the Sebenza class. The Sage 3 might be a little less 'universal' than the 1 or 2, though. I just can't see myself carrying the 3 in a suit, but the 1 or 2 could handle it no problem. Love the Sage!
