I am so very excited to be able to contribute to the tooting of horns!!
Its been a long time coming, and I couldn’t be happier...the Oryx, a tail lock with Zebu horn from our very own french maker, @Ducasse Guillaume.

*hoping this is traditional enough. If not...I will move to appropriate area.

Nice looking, inter frame tail lock!
I've been posting a Ron Lake collaboration interframe tail lock in this sub forum, so l think it's OK. :thumbsup:

Yes! The CAS collab. Almost bought one at Bladeshow...Ron Lake is a fantastic man, and craftsman. I love his design...which is what prompted this one from Guillaume. The tail lock is my favorite style of lockback, and since I can’t afford one of Ron’s...this was the next best. I think it turned out beautifully.

That is a beauty of a knife you have there.
I'd been looking for that particular CAS Lake since I saw one a decade or so ago. Finally got the chance to buy one, and I'm really happy I did. An excellent knife perfectly executed.

Very very nice. :thumbsup: I have been super impressed with his work. My front lock will be on its way this week :) We can have a joint DG thread. ;)

Amazing!!! Did he just finish up your front lock?!! I think I saw it in the build stages. :D

Im hoping to do a review here in a new thread on the Oryx. You are welcome to join it with me. :)

Also, a lot of nice horn knives in this thread. I always have to wipe the drool off my phone. Lol.
