Top 3 Favorite Folders

Currently mine are:

1. Todd Begg Field Grade Bodega, carbon fiber

2. Grayman Satu, all titanium

3. Sniper Bladeworks LPC

Andre Thorburn L54
Modified Northwoods Gunstock
Vaclav MacWasil flipper

Wowza, I'd be happy to own any one of those folders. Especially the two flippers. These are my favorite as of now. Have about half of my collection left after a big sell down for a ring, decisions were easier this time around. I'm on the hunt for my next favorite

I posted the two pics^^ because one looks like they are all safe queens. These all get used.. sharpened.. repeat.

Chaves 228
Strider SMF
Sebenza 21 (large)

Alas, the ole lady is pregnant so all those may be going away. I'll keep the paramilitary 2.

Well. Since there are only three left in my regular rotation this should be easy for me:
1. ZT566
2. Benchmade 551
3. Spyderco PM2

Benchmade 761
ZT0350
Spyderco Manix 2

1. zt 0562cf

It's easy to see I prefer a smaller EDC, as an office worker I have no need for a large EDC while at work. Mini Grip,CRK small 21 and a small summit lake.

Right now its

1. Carson tech Griffin large in N77. Pretty much the perfect edc knife imo, great weight, size, lock, fun factor, cutting ability (although im going to regrind to about 0.010 eventually) and one of the best steels I've used.

2. Andre Thorburn customs, A2, L44 and L51 (I know im cheating a lil, sorry). His knives are some of THE finest knives ive seen or used. Top tier fit and finish (I had 6 knives and kept 3 and all had impeccable fit and finish that you usually pay $1000+ for), super smooth as everyone knows, perfect flipping action for me (just break the detent and the knife flips open yet its not finger breaking hard, I dunno how he does it) and his knives although look pretty are made to cut. Every one I had was ground about 0.012 thin, fantastic cutters.

3. This is hard now. Im torn between a Southard Tolk and Kershaw Tilt. Tolk has better fit and finish, lighter and looks beautiful. Tilt has better steel (im a sucker for nitrogen steels now, great performers), a bit smoother and imo cuts better. I guess its a toss up.

I still love my spydercos too and usually carry one along the knives up top for different reasons. Those top 3 are

1. Military. I think its the best work knife ever made and I love my xhp sprint.
2. Para 2. Edc legend for a good reason. Current favorite is elmax sprint witn a Krein regrind, cuts like a lazer.
3. Manix 2. My third favorite spydie after the ones above. Currently its the cpm m4 one but I love me some cruwear and both lightweight versions in cts bd1 and s110v.
4. Caly 3.5 super blue sprint. Odd handle but amazing steel. Sal we need more super blue!!!

Of the ones I own:

Sage 2
Paramilitary 2
Victorinox Pioneer alox

The Sage 2 required a few seconds of thought, because I also own a Sage 1 and in some ways prefer it, but the fact is I only ever carry the 2. If I owned a Sebenza, it would probably go on there, but I haven't been able to justify the price to myself. (This despite owning several €200+ knives.)

My favorite three currently. The SJ75 is just badass, the ANAX is a fantastic EDC at a little under 3 ounces, and well the Super Roadhouse is just a nasty big old blade.

Hard to pick just three. But these three came to mind immediately (no particular order):

1. Al Mar SERE 2000
2. Spyderco Gayle Bradley
3. Benchmade 710

Benchmade
913 Nitrous Stryker
940-1
477 Emissary
Based on Colorado law, an EDC needs to have a blade no longer than 3.5 inches. Each of these three have blades between 3.4 and 3.5"
