Top 3 Most Iconic Buck Knives?

My iconic Buck choices are the ones I first new. The 305, then the 501 and then the110 in that order.

I would say when most people see a 110, 119 and any 300 series they recognize them as Buck knives so they are probably the most iconic of all.

I would agree 110, 119, 300 series are most recognized.
Favorites 112 with finger grooves, 393 Omni Hunter, 487 Ergo Hunter. They feel better in my hand.

Iconic to most people who can still use BUCK fixed blades and BUCK folding blades or they used both of them in the past?

119 Special

102 Woodsman or the Vanguard

Iconic to me since I ONLY own and use fixed blade knives now?

BUCK Ranger Skinner # 113

BUCK 119 Special

BUCK 102 Woodsman or the Vanguard

It is a toss up on those two knives now for me. I like BOTH of them! But I would choose the #113 and #119 Special for my top two BUCK knives.

I think that 'The 55' is pretty dang iconic too! I would still be using the 110 and 55 if I did not have hand arthritis. So now my husband enjoys carrying and using them.

The most recognizable, revered and copied buck folding hunter takes top spot.
Though comercially unsucessful, the uniqueness of the buckmaster imakes it an icon.
The buck general/special are the epitome of elegant classics
Which have had a long and succesful history of being very capable field knives.
Who says pretty can't take a beating?
Just my 2 cents.

Most iconic to me would have to be the 110, the 184 and lastly, the 186 as when they were released, no one else had anything like them...at least to my knowledge.

My personal favorites are my 560 I found at a gun shop in a junk box, a 192 with a stag handle I am in the middle of negotiating for, and a 639 Fieldmate...the first new fixed blade knife I ever bought.

I think that I will get another BUCK 119 Special this week in town. The one sporting goods store that I got most of our other BUCK knives still carry them in stock.

I will get the black handled one that matches my other #119 Special and my Woodsman.

My husband will get my Vanguard with the rubber handle on it. He hunts and I do not hunt. He continues to admire it and we have passed it back and forth as 'owners'.

I still tend to favor the #113 and the #119 the most.

The other items will come from the Buck store in Idaho for our kitchen. I have looked at custom #113 knives on the BUCK website too.

Valentine's Day is coming up!

These are my entry as "3 Most Iconic" Buck Knives. OH

Thanks TAH. On the fixed blade I went back and forth between picking the Buck 119 vs. the Buck 105 (just like I did at the PX in 1976). I finally decided to go with the same decision I made 40 years ago - first favorite status goes to the Buck 105. My second favorite fixed blade for "iconic status" (that classic Buck "look") is the 119, however my top favorite to use in the field is the Buck 118. OH

I'd have to agree with 110 and 119.

For the third I'm torn between 184 and 401 with the 401 in the lead due to it being around longer.
