Tough but Dead Mil. HG 55

I love the usual (nevertheless Awesome) response to an unusual and noble use of INFI. Commendable to all involved.

outstanding! selfless act on your part varulv.

bossman, this is why people trust in your knives. your customer service and warrunty are top shelf!

cheers, kimo

Good on you for this story Varulv.

Like others have said, take all of the credit to heart. Many around here will want to give your WELL earned praise for your actions.

And worthy to point out how much size, mass, strength and adrenaline went behind breaking the relatively slender (for a Busse) and pre-grooved HG55. Outside of the Cultellus, the HG55 is one of the slimmest blades from Busse and FAR from the stoutest. So, taking that type of abuse for such a slender knife is still quite impressive.

thanks!

Wow!!:eek::eek: I never expected to see that kind of damage on an infi blade...but it certainly was for a good cause! Good on you, brother, for your willingness to act!

yea, I would say that you probably should have used a prybar but who ever carries one of them in their back pocket. Nice job! Guess if your going to destroy something that's the way to do it.

good man.

i keep a knife in my trunk just in case and since i figure it could possibly need to do heavy prying i made it a .320 ASH-1.dont think i could bend that one.

good thing you where prepared.

Well done bud:thumbup:;)

Don't worry about the 55. Jerry will buff that right out:D

Well done bro.
Up to now I have only been carrying a folder, but I think that having a INFI fixed blade could be the best thing. Who knows when brute strength might be needed...
