Trace Rinaldi's shop destroyed by fire.

I'm just a rookie but would be willing to send some handle material to him, no questions asked! If somebody could give an address when things get rolling I'm in for something, unfortunately being on disability with a wife on maternity leave that would be all I could help with.

I just got home today and saw the mess... Man all I can say is if you have a shop you work in that they will insure DO SO...

Its like a bad dream I cant wake up from...

Thank you ALL for your well wishes and support.. This is a hard pill to swallow especially knowing this stuff would have been out in a matter of weeks and moved to N. Id.. THAT shop will surely be insured.:o

ugh, what carnage:(

I just insured my shop about a month ago. I just could'nt stand the thought of it all going up in smoke. I hate to hear about this one. It could have easily been me. Thanks for keeping us posted. Lin

darn bro , just glad it didnt burn towards the house !

I was hopin at least the chassis from the JL grinders would have survived , but after seeing the drill press laying there , it looks like they didnt.

I bet those fireman never smelled so much burning CF before !

Actually John the house did catch, but a fireman pulled down the siding and stopped it!! These firemen out here are something else, they even had a helicopter on it with buckets of water from the resevoir..
good thing too, all the real important stuff was in the house.. All our pictures, documents, firearms etc... I would be on 24 hour suicide watch if that had happened..:(

The important thing is nobody was hurt, and with a bit of luck I will be back in the saddle soon...

Thank you all again..

dam Trace , ya didn't tell me it got as far as the house. Either way , everyone is ok , ya pick up the pieces and trudge onward.... head due North :)

Lot of folks looking at for ya my friend.

Ya suppose Rob was looking down saying " dam Trace , now that's a fire ! " ;)

Trace, dang my friend, I didn't know the house started to catch!! I am so glad that neither you, nor your family got hurt. I am deeply sorry that this happened.

John, knowing our pal Simonich he was probably warming his hands by that fire from upstairs saying, "well if this is what it takes to get him out of there SO BE IT";) He came to So Cal ONCE, and swore he would never come back.

North bound and down... No looking back now..;)

You've got the right attitude, Trace!! Keep at it, you'll be back in no time.

Best wishes,
Win

Hey Trace,
How about an update? Is there anything any of us can do?

Okay guys,so I'm not a knife maker AND I'm a newby to the knife world. That being said, I'd be happy to engrave a knife if the right one was donated --- one of you responsible guys could auction it off & give Tracy the funds. Please advise me of opinions re. this proposal .............
