This is my Virginia Long Knife, it is currently available for sale.
It is an exact copy of a historical pattern, the very knife shown in Madison Grant's book "Knives of Homespun America".
The knife is 14 inches overall, with a 9 inch blade.
The Blade is Hand Forged from a file of 3/16 inch stock,
It has a Forged Guard with Curved Finals and Filework Decoration, the Hickory handle is secured with a steel pin and has a wrapped and soldered bolster of copper secured with a brass pin.
I have images of the description, from the book at my PhotoBucket....
