Hiyas!!

So far from amongst the ChatMaggots we have Kit, Pam, Gus and myself coming.

I have a few new pieces to show off, and am expecting a couple more.

Who else is gonna show?

Regards,

Pat

Really looking forward to it guys!! I'm going to the Tomahawk class down at Troy N.C next w/e. So hopefully I'll be learning enough from that to put on a proper demo.If not I'll just stand around and be pretty;)

Be pretty! Dang, guess I'd better clean my safety glasses! I must of missed something the last two times.
Looks like we might have a few more visitors and participants this time. Cooler weather must have got them stirred up.
Bells on, baby!
TS

ps - there are a few of us coming up hill to get there. Ken Simmons, John Costa, Evgeny Turchak, and myself. Plus I have a few spectators that plan to show up.

TS,
Deb said to tell you that I'm so dang purty that you should have been able to smell it:D I did shower for these events.

Does anyone know what time the tool sale starts over at the J.C Campbell school ? Its going to be happening on Saturday prior to the blacksmiths auction.

Tonight Mike Cooper said he was coming up from Fla on his way to Tennessee.

Gonna be a good crowd I think!

Regards,

Pat

Yup, Pat said if I didn't show up he would pay me a visit some dark scarey night and make me regret it!
I was planning on a trip up that way to see my brother so it really works out great. I'll just spend a couple days with you folks on the way. Hope I don't get lost tryin to find the place. I never been in that part of Georgia before.

L6steel,
Looking forward to meeting you in person. If you can figure out the Interstate signage to I-575 north you have it pretty much licked. After that I-575 only changes designations twice first to 515 then to 76 when you reach Blairsville, Ga. If you go to www.Trackrock.com the campground has excellent directions and maps to get you there from Blairsville.
If that don't work give Sandy Morrissey a call when you reach Blairsville he can talk you in the rest of the way. But you might have to show him you can make a sheath to gain entry.
Bring some of your purtys with you for show and tell.

CT - I made it a practice to never work downwind of my anvil and it ain't because of the sparks! So I probably didn't notice the shower thing. I'll try to be more attentive.

Tool sale ???

That's what is on the J.C Campbell folk school web site. They have an auction and tool sale every year. I'll see if I can find out more details.

Michael,

Do a search on motels in Blairsville, Ga. They do have cabins at Trackrock but they are a bit pricey. You could just bring a tent and air mattress:D
