Trackrock Hammer-in Spring 2015

As a California guy I'm a little jelly. This looks like an outstanding event. Please take lots of pics and relate a few stories when you all get back :-)

Easy for you to say Bamboo......you didn't even show up.
Sorry you couldn't make it, you could have helped Alan and Aubrey mangle & torture that poor little ballpeen for two days while Judy and Jennifer made functional cutlery.
Hope they will post some pics when they finish up their blades.

Carl,

Just wanted to say thanks to you and everyone involved in putting on the event. It was definitely worth the drive down from Virginia. Great group of folks in an awesome environment that were more than willing to share, talk and enjoy the world of knife making. Wish I could have brought the kids, as they would have absolutely had a blast. You guys put on quite a gathering while keeping it very accessible and welcoming to the new folks -- something that is not easy to do and is a testament to the character of the group. Thanks!

Glad you had a good time Blaine and hope you get to come back (and get your hands dirty). I've been truly blessed with a lot of great participating and supportive friends who are willing to step up where needed. Makes my life a lot easier.
Enjoyed meeting and talking with you, as you could see, I don't get much time to socialize long with anyone individual. Way it is.

Next event for those that need to know - last weekend in Sept. 25-26. Got time to plan so no excuses.
See most of you at the Blade Show.
Please stop by Table 5-J and say Hi. No excuses, I'm close enough to Andy and crew to hit them with a crumpled soda can. Big plus is RLo usually hangs out at my table more.....

It was a fun time yet again Carl. Its amazing to stand at the back of that barn and watch the craftsmanship that Carl has influenced, driven, and continues to inspire in new folks. He is and has always actively promoted this. I'm proud to attend, and will continue till he tells me to stop. Thanks my friend. The weekend was once again, quite amazing.

Shoot Andy, you and your people are always a hoot to have around. Just got to quit keeping me up so late. Us old poots need our sleep.
Special thanks for taking a little time with Scout. Tremendous improvement on his grinding approach.

Thanks to both Andy and Carl. I'm very blessed to have the chance to work with you experienced knifemakers.

Works both ways Scout. I feel the same way.
I know Andy took some pics of you teaching the ladies. Maybe he will post one or two......hint hint.
