That can't be a squirrel kill. PETA says that all forest animals frolic while holding hands and singing cartoon songs. Only humans are capable of such evil.

Great pics Big Mike. Reminds me of a time many years ago sitting in a treestand watching a squirrel, when out of nowhere comes an owl swooping down for the kill. Unfortunately the squirrel was faster. Amazing how a large bird of prey can fly so fast through standing timber.

I found this bloody spot at the base of a large Hemlock tree within a mile from where I found the “kill zone”, it looks something enjoyed a meal from one of the branches.
