Hi Gunther85. Thanks buddy. Please don't take me wrong. That is a very kind offer but you don't need to do that. Let me explain myself. I have several USA knives in my collection and I am very proud of them. I am a 68 year old veteran and the majority of the things I purchase, I try to buy American. Every Chinese knife I have purchased has come from an American dealer that made an honest American profit off the sale with my American dollars. I have been buying Bucks, Kershaw and Ontario knives about all my life, many of which are now imports. Now that I am retired with a bum ticker and can no longer afford to buy high dollar knives, I am able to continue enjoying my knife collecting addiction by buying some imports. Not all of them, but some of them. Not complaining though, I am very blessed. I hear where your coming from and I agree that to some my buying habits may sound un-American. Not true. I love this country and I appreciate what it has given me, but I just keep on trying to get by. It won't be long and no one will care what country my knives are from. They will just go on to someone else even if they end up in the trash. Import knives are the life blood of many USA knife retailers and without them they couldn't survive. I do feel what your saying man and I can really appreciate your feelings. A man I know works at an auto factory that builds American cars. He told me that the particular model line he works on has 36% import parts in them. American made cars. Sad but true. Hope you keep enjoying your collecting and once again, I appreciate your kind offer and I do understand your feelings on the subject. Mike in Missouri PS. Sorry about my inbox being full. Heck, I didn't know I could only have up to 5 messages in it. My dang mailbox out front of the house will hold 50. Took me 15 minutes to finally figure out how to empty the stupid inbox here. They shouldn't allow old poots like me on here. LOL LOL.
