I have no idea. It belongs to a friend of mine and he asked me to put it on the forums. For some reason I believe it might be one of his earlier ones made in South Africa.

It is a solid piece of steel. The person in the post above yours sent me an email and said I should post it on the chris reeve sub-forum before I traded it to anyone which I had already done but didn't have any replies. He thinks that maybe it's not a genuine chris reeves knife because of some small differences. Maybe he's right, who knows. I hope someone can enlighten me.

An unusual knife. Perhaps from SA but didn't they have octagonal buttcaps? Perhaps from China.
